STATE OF THE ART AERIAL SYSTEMS

At DC Drones our aircraft are fully insured and compliant with all FAA registration requirements. We use a drone system that has long been considered an industry work horse designed for capturing high quality imagery, the DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus.

 

The onboard camera uses a 1-inch 20-megapixel CMOS sensor. A custom engineered lens made up of eight elements is arranged in seven groups. This is the first DJI camera to use a mechanical shutter that eliminates rolling shutter distortion which can occur when taking images of fast moving subjects or when flying at high speed. In effect, it is in the same class as many traditional ground cameras.

 

Powerful video processing supports H.264 4K videos at 60fps or H.265 4K at 30fps, both with a 100Mbps bitrate. Advanced sensors and processors ensure the footage captured has more image detail and image data that is needed for the advanced post-production capabilities of our video editing software, Apple Final Cut Pro X.
